Weston Garden Club Tour – June 14

The first annual Weston Garden Club Spring Tour of six beautiful, private and historic Weston Gardens is scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 14th from 11AM to 3PM, rain or shine. The tour begins at the lovely English-Style Gardens of 104 Norfield Road where tickets and a map of the other gardens on the tour may be picked up.

Tickets are available pre-paid at $20. ( via Pay-Pal)  or $25. on the day of tour.  Children under 12 are free.

From the Merritt Parkway (Route 15):

 Take exit 42 and drive north on Weston Road (Route #57) for approximately 3 miles.  Turn right onto Norfield Road, 104 Norfield will be on your left.  There will be signs indicating where to park.

 From Connecticut Turnpike (I-95):

Take exit 18 (Sherwood Island exit) and head north on Sherwood Island connector.  Turn left (west) on Route #1.  At first traffic light, take a right (Roseville Road).  At the end of Roseville Road, turn left onto Cross Highway.  Take a right at yield sign onto Weston Road (Route #57) and proceed for approximately 3 miles to Norfield Road.  Turn right onto Norfield Road, 104  Norfield will be on your left.  There will be signs indicating where to park.

Weston’s Memorial Day Parade

WESTON VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT
MEMORIAL DAY PARADE
The Parade will be Monday, May 27th at 10:45. The line up begins at 9:45. There will be a brief ceremony at Town Hall immediately following the parade honoring our Veterans.

Parade-goers can set up anywhere along lower school road, Weston Road between School and Norfield Roads, and up along Norfield Road. The parade starts at the HS parking lot and ends at Town Hall.

Don’t forget to visit the Memorial Day Fair that opens at noon!

Weston’s Memorial Day Fair Starts TONIGHT

and runs through Monday, May, 26th.

Here are some photos from 2013. This is the Elementary and Intermediate School PTO’s biggest fundraiser! Come have some fun! NEW this year, all day unlimited ride bracelets for $30! Available at the ticket booth during fair hours. We’ll also have a bake sale and community booths. On Saturday, 5/24, live bands will be playing on the lawn. Bring a blanket, chairs, sunscreen, and enjoy an afternoon rocking! Food and beverages will be available for purchase at the Fair so you can pack lightly! Here is the schedule:
