Weston Book Sale This Weekend


The Friends of Weston Library is holding its 4th book sale from Friday, Nov. 6th- Sunday, Nov. 8th. The public will have an opportunity to see and purchase over 8000 hard covers and paperback books in 40 categories as well as DVDs, audio books and 1000 music CDs. All fiction categories are alphabetized by author. This fund raiser has gained a reputation for its very good to pristine quality of donations at really great prices! The sale will take place in the library’s Community Room at 56 Norfield Road.

Most hard covers are $1-2.00, trade paperbacks are $1.00 with mass market paperbacks at 50 cents. Adult and children’s DVDs are $3.00, music CDs are $1.00 and audio books start at $3. There are many coffee table books marked at $3.00 and up. Young adults can find lots of current titles and popular series. There is a huge collection of children’s books with 26 popular series books separated for easy recognition. Many individual pristine books and book sets are worthy of holiday gift giving. Jigsaw puzzles, journals, brain busters, and computer games are also available.

Of particular interest are numerous collectibles, including Norman Rockwell: America’s Illustrator, signed by the artist, first editions and scarce rare books known as “Specials”.

Book Sale Schedule
Friday, Nov. 6, 8:00-9:00am early entry fee $10.00. Open to general public with free admission 9:00am to 6:00pm. All items priced as marked.
Saturday, Nov. 7 9:00am to 5:30pm. All items priced as marked.
Sunday, Nov. 8 10:00am to 5:30pm. All items half price until 3:00pm, then standard grocery bag full of items for $5. Bags will be provided.
