Norfield Children’s Center TO HOST Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony for New Playground

(Weston, CT) (January 5, 2012) Norfield Children’s Center is pleased to announce the Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony for our beautiful, new playground on Friday, January 6th at 9:00 am. Britta Lerner, former Norfield Children’s Center Board of Directors President and one of the original planners involved in the playground project will be cutting the ribbon. Parents, Alumni, and some of our favorite Westonites will be attending the festive occasion.

“After years of fund-raising efforts, both the staff and children are thankful for the very supportive Children’s Center community,” said Mary Nosenzo, Co-Director.

Join us for this exciting event, coffee, and an opportunity to watch some eager children put the Dream TowerTM through the paces.

Norfield Children’s Center is a non-sectarian organization that has been serving families in the heart of Weston for the last 45 years. Centrally located next to the Hurlbutt Elementary School and the Weston Public Library, the Center provides care and education to children from the ages of 2-12 years of age. Preschool classes and afterschool care blended into one multi-age hub for parents looking for a quality, nurturing experience for their children.
