DNR Live in Concert: A Tribute to First Reponders and EMS

When: Sat, September 10, 8pm – 10pm

The second annual “Tribute to First Responders” is a fundraising concert to benefit Westport’s Volunteer Emergency Medical Service (WVEMS). The concert is a tribute to First Responders everywhere in memory of 9/11. DNR – “Fairfield County’s (Almost) All Physician Rock Band – will entertain with classic rock tunes. Sponsored by Matsu Sushi. The event will take place rain or shine at the Pavilion with a suggested minimum donation of $5.00 per person. All proceeds will benefit WVEMS. The WVEMS has been serving the local community since 1979. The volunteer organization has members operating at all levels of the Connecticut State EMS, from Volunteer EMT-Paramedics to Medical Response Technicians. The EMS is always available to take on pre-hospital emergency medical services for all Westport residents. DNR is a classic rock band that plays a mix of danceable rock-n-roll music focusing on vintage tunes from the ‘60s, ’70’s and 80’s. Comprised of eight members, including four local physicians, the band is a regular favorite at the Levitt Pavilion’s summer series.
