The concept of an art studio or atelier originated in the highly regarded early education programs in Reggio Emilia, Italy.  An art studio at Bright Horizons is where children have a custom-designed space with ample, beautifully arranged materials and tools which inspire creativity and often encourage the development of long-term artistic and educational projects.  Work in the art studio may grow out of the study of great artists or may grow out of the original ideas of children and complements creative endeavors taking place in the classroom.

The Wilton center has serves families in Fairfield County with children six weeks – 12 years, allowing working parents the opportunity to balance their work and family life while providing high quality early education for their children. The center offers full and part-time child care and drop-in/back-up care on a space available basis.

Bright Horizons offers a unique early learning curriculum for children.  The World at Their Fingertips program for learning offers each child a world full of discovery opportunities guided by skilled teachers who recognize each child’s individual strengths and helps them to learn, grow and live fully.  The World at Their Fingertips uses engaging programs, such as Language Works, Math Counts and Science Rocks, to teach children the basic language, math and science skills that will prepare them for future academic excellence.  The center’s Growing Readers campaign also emphasizes the importance of early literacy and provides parents with information about language development and books of excellence for their children.

Bright Horizons operates each of its centers according to the highest standards of excellence as defined by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and has the best record of accreditation from the NAEYC of any multi-site employer-sponsored workplace services provider in the country, a distinction of quality that fewer than 6 percent of centers in the U.S. achieve.

The Wilton Center is located at 7 Godfrey Place in Wilton in the town center..  For more information, visit or contact Meg Robustelli at or 617-407-7752.
