Review: Cranbury Park (Norwalk)

Cranbury Park offers a tremendous amount of open space, hiking trails, a picnic tables, fully-serviced bathrooms, golf course, and, should you need a fancy place for events, an estate that is magnificent and available for rentals. We also loved the grand beech trees that create a secret playspace for those who enjoy games involving an enchanted forest. Have a great time, but do mind the “do not enter”, “one way” signs, and traffic arrows in the parking lot.

Be aware that the trails are a well-trafficked dog park, with many well-behaved dogs romping off-leash. They are not invited into the meadow and playground area, but you may want to be on the lookout for poo when on the paths, not all owners are as well-behaved. The trails are also enjoyed by mountain bikers, and there’s even an ultimate frisbee course!

  2. Thanks for the info. I hear they have a dog section also. I’ve been wanting to get there!
