Hmmm….distant memories. A favorite past time when Kevin and I were just out of college. Many weekends we would just wing it and drive north from Boston.

I love having a true family weekend! Just spending time together and then falling into bed at the end of the day after a great day of skiing for all!

I love the coffee first thing before we hiot the slopes, watching my son manage the snow, wearing the fun ski gear and ending the day with a glass or two of red wine with family and friends.

I love hearing my 4-yr-old daughter squeal “Yippee!” and “Yahoo!” as she rides the chairlift, then sings herself down the hill.

The best thing about ski trips? The wonderful memories my family has of skiing together. Sharing the laughs about how we tumbled down a hill or spotted a porcupine in the woods (yes that happened at Killington!) Watching my family ski together after we all took a ride up a quad can bring tears to my eyes. And of course, seeing those great smiles on my kid’s faces as they ski down faster than dad…. and of course, the wonderful photos that remind us of our days in the snow and how much we love winter!!

  10. First challenging run of the day, once I’m warmed up and ready for it.

Skiing is something we can do as a family for the rest of our lives. We love being outside, checking out the views, challenging each other and creating memories. It’s our favorite family activity.

I love the Vermont air as we are driving up in the car. You know you are in a special place! The feeling of the first run on fresh powder and the exhilarating feeling of floating down the mountain!
